Rockwall Hazardous Recycling Day

Lakeside Ambucs would like to thank the fine people of Rockwall who brought metal to the Rockwall Hazardous Waste Recycling event this past Saturday. It might have meant cleaning out that garage to you, but the metal was donated to Lakeside Ambucs by the wonderful people at New Phoenix Metals.  You helped to generate more than $6511 that will go towards helping those with mobility needs right here in the Rockwall area.

The day was made even better by these generous people who helped us reach our goal for the day.  We cannot thank them enough.

Lakeside Ambucs Ribbon Cutting!

Cutting

Lakeside Ambucs enjoyed their ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.  Hosted by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the event was held at BB&T Bank on Laguna Drive and  festivities included great food and great fellowship.

The star of the evening was this young man who received a new Amtryke and increased mobility.  Many of our Amtryke recipients are shy and a bit overwhelmed by the crowd, not Matthew.  He owned the room and really enjoyed his new tryke

Matthew

Our thanks go out to BB&T Bank and the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, who were great hosts and fun to mingle with.  We hope to have a long and fruitful mutual relationship with all of these wonderful people.
