At AMBUCS, we honor the service and sacrifice of Veterans who have bravely protected our nation. We also recognize that many Veterans face ongoing physical and mobility challenges long after their service. Every Veteran deserves the chance to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and reclaim the sense of freedom they once had. That’s where the AmTryke® adaptive tricycle comes in — a stable, supportive, and customizable cycling option for those who can’t ride a traditional bike.

For Veterans navigating balance issues, mobility limitations, or other barriers to traditional cycling, AmTrykes® offer a safe way to build cardiovascular strength, enhance muscle tone, and experience the joy of outdoor activity — all while riding alongside family and friends. Communities across the country are forming Veteran Initiative AmTryke® Programs through local AMBUCS chapters to ensure Veterans without access to conventional bikes can get fitted with the right adaptive tricycle. These initiatives are deeply rewarding and provide a meaningful way for supporters, families, and Veteran organizations to get involved.
