Join us in Rockwall and see exactly why we do what we do. We will be giving away several Amtrykes to needy and deserving kids from right here in Rockwall.
What a beautiful day it was to be out delivering presents! Here is just a glimpse of our Lakeside AMBUCS Santas organizing all of the food and gifts and then delivering them to families in the Rockwall community. We have such a great group of individuals who donated not only their time but resources in hopes of bringing a little more holiday cheer to children and their families this Christmas season. Merry Christmas from our AMBUCS family to yours!
Tomorrow, Saturday December 13th at 8:30 a.m, the Lakeside Santas will be gathering at the BB&T Bank in Rockwall (1675 Laguna Dr.) in preparation to distribute gifts to some very special families in the area. This is a great time to fellowship with other members of Lakeside AMBUCS, but more importantly we are able to provide these families with a little more joy this holiday season. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided as we sort and organize the gifts for each family. A group lunch will most likely follow after the delivery of all of the presents. So, put on your best AMBUCS regalia, top it off with a furry Santa hat, and join us for this amazing and heartwarming experience!

Lakeside Ambucs enjoyed their ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday. Hosted by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the event was held at BB&T Bank on Laguna Drive and festivities included great food and great fellowship.
The star of the evening was this young man who received a new Amtryke and increased mobility. Many of our Amtryke recipients are shy and a bit overwhelmed by the crowd, not Matthew. He owned the room and really enjoyed his new tryke
Our thanks go out to BB&T Bank and the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, who were great hosts and fun to mingle with. We hope to have a long and fruitful mutual relationship with all of these wonderful people.
Lakeside Ambucs would like to thank Rockwall Mayor David Sweet and Mayor ProTem David White for attending the event. Special thanks go out to Dorothy Spradlin, Chris Sutton and the other gracious folks at BB&T.
